Have questions about this revolutionary dental treatment?

Teeth In A Day™ FAQs

The transformative results of Teeth in a Day™ treatments cannot be denied. To help you better understand this procedure, we have answered some of our most commonly received questions.

Fixed Teeth in a Day™ is an alternative to dentures that uses implants to secure a zirconia bridge in place. This eliminates the sliding and looseness associated with dentures, stops food irritating your gums and gives you a long-lasting smile that looks natural.

The cheapest Teeth in a Day™ procedure offered by YDS is called PPMA and costs £18,995. This gives you the aesthetic benefit of dental implants but lacks the durability of a zirconia bridge, which start at £29,995 for both arches of teeth.

How to make your implants more affordable

  • Ensure your teeth and gums are in overall good condition with no gum disease
  • Stop smoking to reduce the risk of implants being rejected
  • Check if you have lost bone density in your jawbone

Teeth in a Day™ works by replacing all of your teeth with a bridge supported by a minimum of four grade 5 titanium implants on each jaw. This gives you a long-lasting and durable bite, allowing you to smile, speak and eat confidently. This provides a significant cost saving when compared to having individual implants and reduces the amount of surgery and recovery time.

The Teeth in a Day™ process

  • Pre-consultation call: we will assess your eligibility for Teeth in a Day™, give an overview of the treatment and discuss the procedure in detail.
  • Dental consultation and oral health check: you will have CT scans, 3D scans, X-rays and a full oral health check to identify issues that would prevent implantation from being successful. This is your opportunity to speak direct with a dentist and have any specific questions answered.

Teeth in a Day™ procedure (around seven hours)

  • You are welcomed to the clinic and taken to your treatment room to meet your dentist
  • Your treatment plan will be reviewed, and the procedure explained
  • You will be sedated, making you relaxed and pain-free
  • Any remaining teeth are extracted
  • Your gums are prepared, giving us access to your jawbone
  • Pilot holes are drilled into your bone
  • Grade 5 titanium implants are secured to your jawbone
  • Abutments are added to your implants, these extend through the gum to support the bridge
  • Your gums are sewn up
  • A temporary arch is attached to your implants, giving you a same-day smile transformation

Post procedure (3-4 months)

  • Your gums will heal
  • Your implants fuse with your jawbone, providing a stable base for your final arches
  • A wax prototype of your final teeth are trial tested
  • Your final teeth are created and fit

Up to 16 individual tooth implants can be implanted in a seven-hour working day. However, when replacing this number of teeth it is more efficient and cost effective to use an all-on-4 dental implant procedure. All-on-4 replaces the need for individual crowns with arches of teeth containing up to 14 teeth on each jaw. This reduces the amount of surgery required, keeps costs down and improves recovery time.

There are many risks associated with Teeth in a Day™ dental implant treatments. These include:

  • If you continue to smoke you can increase the risk of bone loss, gum disease and implant failure
  • Implants can cause problems if you have a heart condition, discuss this with your doctor before agreeing to this procedure
  • Implants can cause issues if you have diabetes, discuss this with your doctor before agreeing to treatment
  • Just like a natural tooth, implants can crack, chip or break if you bite onto a hard object

If you have bad teeth your options are numerous depending on your main issue.

Missing teeth

  • Dental implants replace a single tooth, rows of teeth and entire arches of teeth
  • Full and partial dentures
  • Bridges (prosthetic) attach to adjacent teeth and hold a replacement tooth over the gap
  • Retainers can hold a false tooth in place

Painful and damaged teeth

  • Dental implants replace a single tooth, rows of teeth and entire arches of teeth
  • Dental crowns replace the visible portion of a tooth, providing the root is healthy
  • Porcelain veneers replace the front facing surface of your teeth with a hard-wearing veneer to hide damage
  • Composite veneers use hard wearing dental resin to paint over imperfections, creating the shape of a new perfect tooth

Crooked teeth

  • Fixed braces pull teeth into alignment
  • Clear aligners are discreet and removable, pushing teeth into alignment

Discoloured teeth

  • Teeth whitening uses prescription gels to lift stains and brighten your teeth
  • Composite bonding uses hard wearing dental resin which is painted onto the surface of your teeth to create a perfectly straight and ultra-white smile

Getting all of your teeth removed and replaced with dental implants can change your life. From being able to speak and smile without embarrassment to once again being able to chew confidently without pain, teeth removal and replacement is a fast and affordable way to rejuvenate your smile. This treatment uses titanium implants which are attached through your gums to your jawbone, supporting a full arch of teeth. The surgery takes around seven hours, giving you brand-new teeth the same day.

Dental implants cost £319.10 on the NHS and are a Band 3 treatment. You cannot have NHS implants for cosmetic reasons. Instead, you must have an underlying condition or have had an accident to be accepted. NHS implants are made from grey metal and last just five years compared to private dental implants which look natural and last 20. After your NHS implants are done, you will need to seek additional treatments from a private dental clinic as the NHS does not support them past this initial five-year term.

We offer Teeth in a Day™ finance and are able to shop the market to find the best possible finance deal for you.

We are a credit broker, not a lender.

To prepare for your Teeth in a Day™ treatment you should:

  • Stop smoking - this increases your chance of bone loss and implant failure
  • Have had any heart or diabetes issues cleared by your doctor
  • Have had gum disease or oral health issues treated
  • Had a gum graft if this needs resolving before treatment can be successful
  • Had a bone graft if you have bone loss, or opt for zygomatic or pterygoid implants if this loss is on your upper jaw

To be eligible for Teeth in a Day™ you should have one or more of the following:

  • Been told your teeth will eventually fall out
  • Are annoyed by or unable to have dentures
  • Have had recent damage causing tooth loss
  • Stopped smoking
  • Have had any heart or diabetes issues cleared by your doctor
  • Have had gum disease or oral health issues treated
  • Had a gum graft if this needs resolving before treatment can be successful
  • Had a bone graft if you have bone loss. You can also opt for zygomatic or pterygoid implants if this loss is on your upper jaw

Comparing Teeth in a Day™ to dental implants, the main difference is the number of teeth being supported by each implant.

With an individual tooth implant, an individual crown is supported by an implant. This is costly and increases the risk of failure.

Teeth in a Day™ supports an entire arch containing up to 14 teeth on just four dental implants. This provides a robust and secure foundation, reducing your cost and improving recovery time.

You cannot have Teeth in a Day™ if you have gum disease. Your dentist will recommend a dental hygienist appointment to professionally clean your teeth and gums with potential medication to clear up this issue.

If you have implants and are experiencing gum disease, then contact your dentist and spend more time each day on your oral hygiene. Brush twice a day and pay particular attention to where your bridge meets your gums.

Teeth in a Day™ does not hurt as you will be sedated throughout the procedure. This makes even the most nervous of patients calm, relaxed and pain free. As you recover after surgery you will experience sore gums. This can be treated using your choice of over-the-counter pain medication.

With Teeth in a Day™ you will immediately be able to see the result at the end of the day. As your gums heal and your implants knit to your jawbone, you will have to watch what you eat. However, once your final bridge is fit, you should be able to bite and chew as normal.

After a few weeks, your Teeth in a Day™ smile should start to feel natural in your mouth.

Teeth in a Day™ are a permanent, non-removable way to replace broken, missing and painful teeth. Your implants and bridgework should last up to 20 years before needing renewal.

The success rate of Teeth in a Day™ is 98% after 10 years. This means that this treatment is a great option for patients needing a long-lasting replacement for damaged, painful and broken teeth.

If you have bone loss you can still get Teeth in a Day™ with either a bone graft, pterygoid implants or zygomatic implants.

A bone graft introduces donor bone, which knits with your jawbone to provide a stable foundation for your Teeth in a Day™ treatment.

For upper jaw bone loss, pterygoid and zygomatic implants bypass the affected area, securing to bones deeper within your face.
